Rolex GMT-MASTER II Oyster, 40 mm, white gold M126719BLRO
The only GMT-Master II with a meteorite dial is this model. Meteorite originates from the core of an asteroid or possibly a planet that has burst, sending debris hurtling across the Solar System until it stumbles into the orbit of our planet and is drawn to Earth by gravity. The extraordinarily slow cooling of molten asteroid cores causes the meteorite’s centre to progressively change along its flight, creating incredibly strange metallic patterns. For some of the most prominent models, such as this GMT-Master II, the designers at Rolex use various permutations to produce a one-of-a-kind gem.
